I’ve traveled the world and met some interesting people, done some interesting things. I grew up in Texas and started my professional career in the Marine Corps as an HR Officer, where I got to spend a few years in Japan and Washington state. When it was about time for me to get out and figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up, I saw an ad for this whole “Data Science” thing on Instagram, and the rest is history.

I taught myself how to program, and you can usually find me nose deep in code somewhere. Big ideas hit me right between the eyes often, and I absolutely love working with other people to make theirs a reality. Machine learning in all spaces is snake_fascinating to me , but I have a special place in my heart for network graphs and all the cool things they can be applied to.

If I’m not at the computer, you can find me on my guitar 🎸, lost in the woods with my bow 🎯 or fishing rods 🎣, or learning (in extreme detail) an impractical skill. My goals this year are to learn to play bulerias 💃, catch a monster trout 🐟, and get my personal ML projects running 💻.
